Does MapOut work on iPhone Duo?
Not yet. MapOut's current version (3.4.14, 19 September 2026) came out before Apple's iPhone Duo tools, so on the inner screen it opens in an iPhone-size window with black bars. It works, just not full screen.

Why do some apps have black bars on iPhone Duo?
Because they were built before Apple's iPhone Duo tools. On the inner screen, an app built for an older iOS opens in an iPhone-size window on a black background; one built for iOS 27.0 uses more of it but leaves some space blank; only apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK, which developers have had since 5 October 2026, use the whole display.
When will MapOut be adapted to iPhone Duo?
Only Valnova knows. We check MapOut on the App Store again within about 1 h: this page changes as soon as a new version says it supports iPhone Duo.
Do apps that aren't adapted still work on iPhone Duo?
Yes. Every iPhone app runs on iPhone Duo: one that isn't adapted just doesn't fill the inner screen until its developer updates it.
